Our booking terms and conditions are here to ensure that both parties are completely clear on their responsibilities under this contract and to comply with all the relevant legislation. They are most easily understood in terms of your responsibilities (The Client) and our responsibilities (lifecycles) |
Lifecycles accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury to persons or property who are participating on a course. Persons who are participating on a course, do so at their own risk, and when doing so agree to abide by the rules and regulations laid down by the instructor(s) present at the time. It is the resonsibility of the participant to ride within their limits. If you do not wish to ride on any part of the course, you always have the option not to participate All participants must ensure that their mountain bikes are suitable for off-road use and are in safe working condition prior to attending any of the courses offered
Cycle helmets, gloves and cycle glasses must be worn at all times as a minimum requirement.
The participant may wish to wear additional protection (elbow and knee pads) when attending our skills courses,
Maintenance courses, googles, gloves, barrier cream, workshop approns, will be provided.
ConclusionThe above conditions ensure both parties are aware of their rights and responsibilities and all bookings with lifecycles are made subject to these conditions. Lastly it is important to realise that "mountaining biking" is a hazardous activity and carry a danger of personal injury or death. All participants in these activities should be aware of, and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions. – the BMC
