Terms & Conditions

Our booking terms and conditions are here to ensure that both parties are completely clear on their responsibilities under this contract and to comply with all the relevant legislation. They are most easily understood in terms of your responsibilities (The Client) and our responsibilities (lifecycles)

 
  • Cancellation by client: All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellation with more than fourteen days prior to course date results in loss of 25% of full course fees. Cancellation if less than fourteen days prior to course date results in loss of 100% of course fee. However, alternative dates will be offered at the discretion of lifecycles.
  • Cancellation by lifecycles. Lifecycles reserve the right to cancel courses at any time when they feel that riding conditions are unacceptable or for any other circumstances which are outside of their control. In this event, as much notice as possible will be given, and clients will be offered the following options: Either, the same course on different dates, or full refund. If the course has already commenced when the course is cancelled, you will be offered the same course on different date, no refund will be given.
 
Lifecycles accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury to persons or property who are participating on a course. Persons who are participating on a course, do so at their own risk, and when doing so agree to abide by the rules and regulations laid down by the instructor(s) present at the time. It is the resonsibility of the participant to ride within their limits. If you do not wish to ride on any part of the course, you always have the option not to participate All participants must ensure that their mountain bikes are suitable for off-road use and are in safe working condition prior to attending any of the courses offered
 
Cycle helmets, gloves and cycle glasses must be worn at all times as a minimum requirement.
 
The participant may wish to wear additional protection (elbow and knee pads) when attending our skills courses,
Maintenance courses, googles, gloves, barrier cream, workshop approns, will be provided.
 

Conclusion

 
The above conditions ensure both parties are aware of their rights and responsibilities and all bookings with lifecycles are made subject to these conditions. Lastly it is important to realise that "mountaining biking" is a hazardous activity and carry a danger of personal injury or death. All participants in these activities should be aware of, and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions. – the BMC
