The aim of this course is to introduce the participant to the very basics of mountain biking.
By the end of the 1 day course, the participant will have the confidence and skills to ride mountain bikes off-road.
The course will cover the following.

- Safety checks to your mountain bike
- Correct riding position
- Warm up correctly
- Balance
- Correct use of gears
- Braking techniques
- Climbing techniques
- Cornering techniques
- Descending techniques

| Fitness-Like any other sport,you need a certain level of fitness to get the best experience "to enjoy the down,you have to endure the up",we recommend 3 x 30 minute aerobic exercise per week. |
