Whether you want to learn some basic techniques, you want to build your confidence over obstacles and downhill or you want to learn more.

Introductory courses are structured to cover all mountain bike skills you are likely to need when mountain biking.

 

The following modules are covered during the course.

 
  • Correct bike set up and rider positioning
  • Going uphill
  • Going downhill
  • Cornering
  • Drop offs
  • Lifting the front wheel
  • Emergency trail repairs(including and broken chains)
  • The use if clipless pedals(with an opportunity to try them out)
  • Bike safety checks
 
Fitness-Like any other sport,you need a certain level of fitness to get the best experience "to enjoy the down,you have to endure the up",we recommend 3 x 30 minute aerobic exercise per week.
